Junior Kayak Camps – July

This is a fun and interactive course hosted by Bryan, our resident kayak instructor, for our junior members to learn and develop their kayaking skills. This is suitable for  those children aged 8 and upwards.

The camps run across 4 days,  all that is needed is your wetsuit and suitable footwear, we provide all other equipment.

Price:  €100.00 – €120.00

1. Our Junior and Teen Camps are for HYC members only
2. Each session is approximately 2 hours long
3. Children and teens can work towards a Sit OnTop Flatwater Skills Award on completion of course & assessment over the 4 days. Older Teens can be considered for a Sit-On-Top Sea Skills Award.
4. Children & Teens will need a wetsuit, wetsuit booties/suitable footwear, buoyancy aid, helmet, water, mobile phone waterproof case (if taking on the water) and suncream. HYC can provide helmets and bouyancy aids for those that need them.
