Thursday Kayak Sessions – Juniors, Teens and Adults welcome

Hosted by Bryan, our resident kayak instructor, for our our members and their guests to learn and develop their kayaking skills. This is suitable for Juniors aged 8+, teens and adults.

Price:  €40.00 – €45.00

Thursdays sessions – afternoon and evenings:

1. Depending on the weather, tides, ages. abilities and experience of each group, the operating areas of the course may differ from course to course. The sessions are approximately 2.5 hours long.
2. The courses are open to both members and non-members of HYC.  Non-members will be permitted access to the Club for the duration of the course and are welcome to use the Clubs facilities.
3. Participants will need a wetsuit/drysuit, wetsuit booties, buoyancy aid, helmet, water, mobile phone waterproof case and suncream. If the participants of any of the skill awards have their own safety equipment such as tow ropes, carabiners, vhf radio etc. please bring these items with them on the course. HYC can provide all items with the exclusion of wetsuits and suitable footwear.
4. All participants will be required to complete a healthcheck questionnaire ahead of their attendance to ensure that we can provide the best service we can to each person attending.
