Level 3: IMPROVING SKILLS

This course runs from 09.30 to 16:30 over 2 or 3 weeks and is suitable for children who are aged from 10 to 12 years old and have completed Start Sailing

Course dates (3 weeks): June 30th – July 18th, July 28th – August 15th

Course dates (2 weeks): June 30th – July 11th, June 14th – June 25th, July 28th – August 8th

Price: 2 week course: €475

3 week course: €575

Experience: Basic Skills + 10 days logged experience

New for 2025: Junior sailors taking part in Basic Skills will be invited to participate in Thursday Evening dinghy racing to complete their logbook requirements in addition to their chosen HYC course. There will also be additional racing material included in the course content to help sailors further develop their skills.

What will you need: Wetsuit and booties/old runners. At this level we recommend participants have their own buoyancy aid.
