Fun Week – Mixed activity course for 6 – 10 year olds

Fun week at Howth Yacht Club is a beginner level course for those aged 6-10 years of age.

Following the popular Cara Na Mara programme it provides an on the water and shoreside training programme that delivers basics sailing skills, seamanship, environmental awareness and science.  We may also incorporate a spin on our bigger boats, or perhaps a powerboat! The courses run in the morning only from 09:30 to 12:30.  If you have a group of a few friends together that we might be able to accommodate in an afternoon session, please get in touch with us on quest@hyc.ie and we will try out best to accommodate.

Price: €125.00 per person/1-week course (inclusive of Bank Holidays where appropriate)
Start Dates (PICOS): 5th June, 12th June, 19th June and 26th June.

Start Date (J80s): 14th August

Experience: No previous experience required

What will you need: Wetsuit (ideally long-sleeved) and booties/old runners, if you have a buoyancy aid great, but don’t worry, we have plenty you can borrow!
